What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It is later sent back when you return, which lets the site recognise that the visit is from the same browser. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function, others are optional analytics or marketing tools.

What we set

The current set of cookies on fyndera.pro is deliberately small.

• fyn_consent_v1 — first-party. Stores your choice on the consent banner ("accept" or "reject") so we do not show the prompt on every visit. Local storage entry, lifespan 12 months. Strictly necessary under PECR.
• PHPSESSID — first-party session cookie. Used only on the contact form to bind the CSRF token to your session for a few minutes. Expires when you close the browser. Strictly necessary.
• _fpc — first-party page counter. An anonymous integer that we use to track total daily page views. No personal identifier, no cross-site tracking. Lifespan 24 hours.

What we do not set

We do not place Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Hotjar or any equivalent third-party advertising trackers. We do not embed third-party fonts that profile visitors — typefaces are loaded from the standard Google Fonts service which only logs aggregate fetches.

Managing your preferences

You can change your consent at any time by clicking the small cog icon at the bottom right of any page on this site. You can also clear all cookies for fyndera.pro through your browser settings — instructions vary by browser, the official guides at allaboutcookies.org are kept up to date.

Updates to this list

If we add, remove or change a cookie, we update this page within five working days and refresh the consent banner so existing visitors are asked again. The "last updated" date appears at the top of the page in the page footer build.
